Join Joe Bray-Ali as he puts in some elbow grease to help make the Milagro Allegro Community Garden a real community asset for District 1. Come get your hands a little dirty! You will be removing dried weeds, tilling the soil, tidying the tool shed and of course helping with the clean up of the garden — all for a good cause. Indeed the community has big plans for Milagro Allegro: a new water line and storage tank and a ‘passive’ watering system. Come be a part of it!
More on the garden: it was founded in 2009 “to be a center of peace and beauty in the community where the cultivation of vegetables, fruits and flowers as well as creative ideas, artistic expression and neighborly values may take place.” That is right in line with Joe’s philosophy for his district!
